Hailed as “one of the world’s greatest violinists” by BBC Music Magazine, Georgian violinist Lisa Batishvili will lead students from the Elizabeth Faidley Violin Studio through an Orpheus style rehearsal featuring the work of one of Lisa’s favorite composers, Sulkhan Tsintsadze, as well as Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2, which she will perform at Purchase College on Friday, March 23 and at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, March 24. This event is open to the public and RSVPs are required. To RSVP please email info@orpheusnyc.org by 5 PM March 21.
