Marketing Internship

Orpheus Chamber Orchestra seeks a Marketing Intern interested in a career in performing arts administration to work in a highly collaborative setting, assisting in all areas of the department, including:

Marketing

• Assist with social media content creation and scheduling
• Edit concert programs
• Edit newsletters
• Research new community outlets for ticketing outreach
• Contact schools and community groups to promote events

Special Events

• Organize and distribute gifts for patrons
• Work as a member of the Orpheus street-team prior to public events
• Assist with patron services and ticketing
• Attend performances and special events

Content and Database Management

• Update and consolidate mailing lists
• Organize and manage digital collateral
• Research, update, and organize historical documents

This is a part-time, unpaid internship. Intern will work closely with the Director of Marketing and the Patron Engagement & Insights Associate.

Work days/hours are flexible. Orpheus’ offices are located on the 11th Floor of the Riverside Church, between 120th and 122nd Streets on Claremont Avenue in New York City.
