About Access Orpheus

Access Orpheus is the orchestra’s signature program for K-12 grade public school students, serving over 2,500 students annually. New York City is the cultural capital of the world, yet regrettably many of its residents are unable to take advantage of its artistic offerings. Access Orpheus helps bridge this gap with in-class visits, attendance at working rehearsals, and free tickets for performances at Carnegie Hall. For many students, this is their very first opportunity to see a live classical music concert and to visit Carnegie Hall.

Your tax-deductible gift shapes the future of Orpheus, allowing us to grow and share our music through performances, tours, recordings, and educational programs.

Currently in its 13th year, Access Orpheus shares the orchestra’s collaborative music-making process with New York City public school students. Contact us for more information about how to involve your school.
