Orpheus is delighted to hold our first ever
Orpheus for All concert at Carnegie Hall - with every ticket free of charge.
Through this initiative, Orpheus seeks to create a unique opportunity for all
New Yorkers to experience full scale performances of the highest caliber in one
of the world’s most prestigious venues.
A note from Executive Director Alexander Scheirle:
“Fifty years ago, Orpheus launched an experiment in collaboration – an orchestra without a conductor – that pioneered a model of inclusion that has since influenced the entire industry. Orpheus for All is the natural next step in that mission. By raising our own standards of accessibility, we are redefining what inclusion in the arts truly means. The appetite for classical music has never been stronger, as shown by our sold-out concerts here in New York and around the world. Thanks to the generosity of our founding Orpheus for All program sponsors, this pilot allows us to welcome new audiences and share the Orpheus experience with more New Yorkers than ever before.”
