Orpheus Reflections

Concert Duration: 90 minutes

  • Families impacted by dementia are invited to join us for an afternoon of music at CaringKind.

    The program will include a string trio performing works by Bach, Debussy, and Mozart and participants will be invited to sing along to well-known songs like Moon River and Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’.

    Immediately following the music, families are welcome to enjoy a meet and greet with the musicians and staff over light refreshments.

Please join us online or in-person for a special Orpheus Reflections™ program in partnership with CaringKind connect2culture®, a program engaging people with dementia and their caregivers through cultural experiences.

CaringKind is located at 360 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10017. This free program is available in person and live streamed over Zoom.

Orpheus Reflections™

Orpheus Reflections™ brings the healing power of music to people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and their caregivers. Music can bring emotional and physical closeness, help to ease stress, and encourage positive interactions. Through Reflections, members of Orpheus Chamber Orchestra share intimate performances for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers in comfortable, accessible settings.
