Please join us for a special Orpheus Reflections™ program at the beautiful setting of Queens Botanical Garden.
The program will include a string trio of Orpheus Chamber Orchestra musicians performing classical works and popular songs including Chinese favorites such as Jasmine Flower, Farewell, and The Moon Represents My Heart.
Light refreshments will be provided afterwards during a meet-and-greet with the musicians.
Admission is free. Pre-registration is required.

Orpheus Reflections™ brings the healing power of music to people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and their caregivers. Music can bring emotional and physical closeness, help to ease stress, and encourage positive interactions. Through Reflections, members of Orpheus Chamber Orchestra share intimate performances for individuals living with dementia and their caregivers in comfortable, accessible settings.
This concert will be held on the Visitor and Administration Building. Please RSVP to receive detailed directions.
Musical aptitude and appreciation are two of the last remaining abilities as dementia progresses, making music a wonderful way to reach the person beyond the disease. Orpheus Reflections™ was designed to give individuals living with dementia and their caregivers the opportunity to participate in intimate performances curated specifically for them.
